BBC Radio 4’s ‘In Business’ strand featured SiSaf’s Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer, Suzanne Saffie-Siebert, in an episode about ‘Northern Ireland and Brexit’. In the programme, Management Today editor Matthew Gwyther interviewed a range of Northern Irish entrepreneurs about the impact that they expect Brexit will have on their businesses and on Northern Ireland’s political future. Suzanne highlighted the importance of free movement of labour within the EU: “Having people from different nationalities, different cultures is a plus for business. So my great hope is that our government does not put too many bureaucratic hurdles in place to bring talented scientists from everywhere. Wherever we are in the UK, we depend on the talent and if we feel limited in hiring people that will affect progress.”
