Sensum to attend CES 2019

Clarendon portfolio company Sensum, will be attending the 2019 CES – the Consumer Electronics Show – in Las Vegas on Tuesday 8th January. The event is open for people who work in the industry and accredited journalists and runs until Sunday 12th January. CES is the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show, and a showcase of many of the best new tech innovations.

Clarendon initially invested into the company in May 2016 has built a software platform that operates on mobile and desktop, and is integrated with a wide range of 3rd party consumer and industrial wearables that measure heart rate, breathing rate, skin conductance, facial expression, voice tone and speech content. It combines this biometric data with context datathatit also harvests from the surrounding environment or situation to provide emotional/informative context.

Having harvested the data, the Company’s Emotion AI Engines are integrated into a range of online and mobile tools that provide a full 360° understanding of both conscious and nonconscious behaviours and feelings. Insights from the Sensum platform allow clients and users to design better services, products and customer experiences. The same architecture is also used in innovative new ways of engaging with people, such as interactive real-time field research, and world-first marketing campaigns and media productions.
